Everhome Mortgage is a mortgage company that operates in a majority of the United States and offers mortgages and home equity loans. I’ve been doing a bit of reading up on the company.
However, I’d be interested to hear from anyone who might have some experience with Everhome. It appears that this mortgage company offers quite a range of options when it comes to the types of financing that they provide.
Actually, I am interested in hearing about any of the many mortgage companies out there.

I’d advise against using EverHome Mortgage. They bought my loan a year ago and have been a nightmare to deal with. I make electronic payments and they still take a week or two to process. That makes them hard to watch. That was just annoying until they failed to process two of my electronic payments. Although the payments were submitted on time and I have the confirmation they gave for them, Everhome reported both payments as late rather than informing me of the processing trouble. (Both appear to be IT errors on their part.) They refuse to remove the late reports although their processing errors led to them. Disputing the credit reports and working with the Better Business Bureau is slow and time consuming. In the meantime, refinancing through another company gets less and less attractive as every incorrect report to the credit agencies drops my credit score by 30 or so points. My recommendation: go with someone with a decent customer service record.
