Back at this time, it was one of the most horrific murders in the country.
By the time a lot of the bodies were found they had already began decomposing. Some of them were found bound at the legs and arms. Others has various traumas on their bodies.
This was a story that was all over Houston and brought fear from people who were missing loved ones themselves. Of course, they feared the worst.

How do you Elmer Wayne Henley wasn’t the ringleader ? If Dean Corll was a killer too, there would for certain be bodies around the candy factory. Obviously they were sadistic people. who alone were dangerous but together… their savagery was unmatched. Due to the chain of feeding off each other.
