Hans works for Octagon Global Recruiting, which in turn works for the Dharma Initiative. There is a recruiting spree going on this year in July.
Definitely an anagram for something. He’s a new part of the Lost ARG, the Dharma Initiative’s “recruitment” drive. He’s a cc: in the email they send you.

Hans Van Eeghen works for Octagon Global Recruiting, who is recruiting for the Dharma Initiative.
The name means something to me, as he replied to me by email, after i registered interest in ‘Octagon Global Recruitment’ that was featured during the lost season 4 finale. SO i know he is the man behind Recruitment for Octagon at least.
No clue who Hans Van Edghen is. Any luck on figuring out who he is yet?
AS far as I know Hans van Eeghen is something to do with Octagon Global Recruiting, he’s currently on assignment in the field, but he’ll be back soon!

I still haven’t figured out his name–can’t tell if it’s an anagram. But if you send him an email you get an out of office reply that says he’s in the field and will be in touch upon his return
