About half a decade ago, Joelle Ogletree, a teacher from Texas was accused of having intercourse with three of her students. Since she was accused, she has maintained that she is not guilty of such acts and during that time one of the students actually admitted that he was not telling the truth. In the end, it was obvious that she did not do anything that she was accused of. Joelle Ogletree is now suing the school for wrongful termination.

Can you imagine if you were in her shoes? I’m not sure what I would have done. I think she now has every right to sue the school but I also think that something should be done with the students as well. However, I don’t have the whole story and I also read somewhere that it there may have been some pressure from the school administration that spoke to the students when the rumors first came up.

The sad thing in this whole ordeal is that now Joelle Ogletree’s name has been put through the gutter over all this. She did absolutely nothing wrong but she now suffers because they will not give her job back even though sh is allowed to teach again.
