Sadly, Shaun Lunt from Loma Linda, Calif. was flying in a Piper Super Cub when it crashed in Alaska and killed him.

During the flight, Shaun Lunt was exporing the area when the engine has problem and then stalled. This caused the plane to hit the ground and explode into fire.

It’s a sad thing to hear about when people die doing the things that they love the most. Mr. Lunt had a blog online that detailed a lot of his flying adventures in Alaska. It would be cool to see if one of his pilot friends could keep the blogging tradition alive.

Corey- Just out of curiousity, did you even look anything about Shaun before making your fist comment? Here’s alittle bit more that you should mention… “Lunt, a 33-year-old anesthesiologist from Loma Linda, California, is a 12-year pilot who, after working his way up the ratings and endorsements—private, instrument, commercial, floatplane, aerobatics”
He was a very good pilot that got stuck in a stall 100 feet up. There was no wa to recover, and you think it’s cute to make this kind of comment.
