Back when I started with computers, MS DOS was the only way. Well….my first computer was a Tandy CoCo 2 so there wasn’t any DOS there from Microsoft anyway. I guess I really dated myself now! And *gasp* no internet!
It’s crazy how things have advanced in the last twenty years with computers. I mean, we started with these huge boxes with tubes that took up entire rooms and now we have just these little hand held things that can compute circles around what those huge boxes did back in the day. The prices of computers have decreased amazingly as well.
I shutter to think what my life would be like without these advances. And no, I have no idea what ms dos command can display hidden files. I may have known years ago but the GUI has ruined me!
